Achievements, Recognitions and Awards:

On behalf of Aadyantara, organized the seminat ‘Srijan: Innovationa & Experimentations in Indian Classical Dances’ at the India International Centre on November 21, 2009. The key speakers on this event were: Padamshri Shovana Narayan, Padamshri Dr Kiran Seth, Smt Shanta Serbjeet Singh, Smt Rama Vaidhyanathan, Smt Kavita Dwibedi, Smt Shahshiprabha Tiwari and Dr Swati Subodh. Interviewed by Doordarshan Kendra, New Delhi twice in ‘DD live Evening Show’ under the ‘Young Achievers’ category. The programs were aired in September 2007 and July 2008 on DD National channel

Performed and interviewed in a program showcasing young talent on DD Bharti in May 2007.

Co-founder of ‘Aadyantara’, a registered cultural organization for promotion of Indian art forms.

Choreographed and performed in ‘Rang-Colours of Devotion’. The recital encompassed poems from different eras from various well known poets of their times. These Bhakti and Sufi compositions were portrayed using the grammar of kathak.

Co-choreographed and performed in ‘Govindam’-a kathak dance recital depicting the different facets of Lord Krishna.

Recipient of the 'Nataraja Award' for contributions to the colleges classical dance initiatives by Sri Venkateswara College in 1995 and 1997.

Adjudged the Best Dancer at various national and state competitions between 1994-1997.
